Sometimes we follow steps that are popular even though they do not work. We do them because everyone else is doing them. Of course some things we just do instinctively.
What are some things you are doing right now that do not work for YOU but you are still following them because everyone else does? Have you wondered if the steps you are taking right now while searching for employment are the very steps prolonging the securing of your next career?
For instance, do you have a profile on linkedIn? How many interviews did it generate for you last week? Think about it. Does your resume still have an objective?

Today finding employment is no longer about which job sites possess the most jobs. It is about how effectively one communicates one's skills to employers looking for those skills.
Employers with open positions are just as eager in filling their open positions with the right skills, as job seekers are eager to find employment.
For most finding a job is a two step process. Preparing a resume(step one), and applying (step two) only blends you in with thousands of others following the same two steps. Be different

job seekers access to employers like never before. This has afforded thousands within small communities the ability to apply for the same jobs simultaneously.
