Applying online is a nice complementary piece, but applying in-person increases your chances of being noticed by employers. Securing a career today is directly linked to the quality of connections you make. What are some of the strategies you followed this week to connect with employers?
At this event, you meet with employers in person, apply for jobs by proxy*, collect job leads, and build your employment network, all of which can lead to referrals and job offers.
This event prepares you before you meet with employers to ensure you present your skills in an impressive fashion. See what others are saying about the event maximizer.
Ever been to a Job Fair? Job seekers approach exhibitors at large numbers and employers who feel overwhelmed, end up just collecting resumes. This defeats the purpose of the career fair, which is to create an in-person opportunity for the job seeker.
More than 70% of all employment opportunities today are created through networking. At a Get Back to Work Now event, job seekers are afforded the time to appropriately connect with employers and employment resources. This is accomplished via the preparation seminars.

At every event, we strive to invite a diverse group of employers to exhibit including
Fortune 1,000 companies, universities, financial or insurance companies, retail companies, government jobs, security jobs, and healthcare jobs.
As we work hard to maintain employer diversity for every event, we try carefully to refrain from prejudging
any employer. Some employers hold hidden jobs—jobs that are not advertised. For instance financial companies
offer non-financial jobs such as office and other administrative positions. Universities offer management and
recruitment jobs. Others hire for more than 100 different positions even though they may exhibit or advertise
only a few. Click here to view a list of employers that have attended the Get Back to Work Now Events in the past.
At this event, you meet with employers in person and by proxy. The By Proxy service showcases hundreds of open positions for those employers who could not exhibit, yet are hiring. An important feature of the By Proxy is the Direct Resume process. When you apply, your resume is forwarded directly to a hiring manager as opposed to a general mailbox. Our territory managers now canvass your locality all month long uncovering jobs in your area. We confirm the validity of the positions and identify the hiring manager's contact information. Those jobs are then showcased at the By Proxy desk. At each Get Back to Work Now event, in addition to meeting with employers face to face, you market your background to employers hiring by proxy.
Most job seekers leave a Get Back to Work Now event seminar feeling excited, knowledgeable, hopeful and ready. We realize a job seekers time is valuable. Therefore, the seminars share powerful, to the point information focused on helping them achieve their goals while searching for the right career. Anyone who has attended a Get Back to Work Now event will tell you that the seminars are the most powerful employment workshops they have ever attended. Job seekers achieve clarity at the seminars and leave the room feeling inspired, which they carry to the employer room with a newly acquired sense of direction. The seminars are called the Event Maximizer and the How Seminar.
